meg mobley, Minister of
Children's and Family Formation
Meg Lowry Mobley, a Mississippi native and a cradle Episcopalian, is delighted to be at St. Thomas. Four years after graduation from Centenary College of Louisiana with a B.A. in Sociology, Meg moved to Fayetteville and began work in the Office of Admission at the University of Arkansas. After the first of her two children, Andrew, was born, she left the University to be a full time mom. Rebecca was born a year later. During her absence from “the working world,” Meg spent much time volunteering at her children’s schools and at their church in Fayetteville. She has served in many capacities, from Core Team Member (for EYC), Sunday School teacher, youth group mentor, Back Pew Group co-director and Vestry Member to Home Room Mom, Field Trip driver, fundraising event ticketmaster and PTO Co-President. She has a dog from Louisiana, Hebert and a cat from Arkansas, Lucy. Her parents are Bill and Margaret Lowry.

Diane Ostrowski-Mills, Bookkeeper
My journey to the Episcopal Church was colorful -- raised in
the Catholic Church, seven years in the Baptist Church as a
young adult, a short stint in the Presbyterian Church, then
reluctantly tried the Episcopal Church (I thought it was just
like the Catholic Church) to get a friend off my back in 1989.
I was surprised to find I'd come home. Catechesis of the Good
Shepherd, children's choir, the women's prayer group, and the
friendly loving people at St. Thomas helped us join in 1996.
Claude and I've been married for 15 years. I have a son,
Jeremy, 32, married to Sharon. Jaime is 20. I have three "grandcritters," Bionca, Auggie, and Sugar.
