Reaching out at St. Thomas

As a community of faith, members of St. Thomas are committed to support one another in the joyous times and in the midst of difficulties. Relationships that are grounded in our common worship of God extend beyond the walls to meet the needs of those in our community who are ill or recovering from illness. There are several aspects of ministry designed to meet the needs of those in our midst:

Pastoral Care is available "24-7." Please contact a member of the clergy if you are in illness or crisis.

Eucharistic Visitors are lay persons trained to take the blessed bread and wine to those who are home-bound or in the hospital.

Shepherd Groups exist to offer care to those who are recovering from illness or after giving birth. This may take the form of meals prepared by parishioners and delivered to your home, helping with some of the basic errands of life, or just sitting with a friend.

Please contact the church office for more details.
