A Prayer For Young Persons (from the BCP)
God our Father, you see your children growing up in an unsteady and confusing world: Show them that your ways give more life than the ways of the world, and that following you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you, and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Here at St. Thomas we are committed to creating an environment were the youth of the community feel comfortable and safe. We recognize that the world can be “unsteady and confusing” and try to provide an atmosphere that is stable and consistent where they can learn about themselves, each other, and God.

WHO is the St. Thomas EYC? Anyone who is in 6th -12th grade. Friends and visitors are always welcome.

WHAT IS EYC? The Episcopal Youth Community at St. Thomas is a community of friends who come together at least once a week to enjoy the creation of God through song, games, prayer, and food! AKA Youth Group!

WHEN do you gather? We get together for Sunday School at 9:15 and again on Sunday night from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. During parts of the school year and on occasion during the summer, we also meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 7:15.
