St. Thomas Church Rector Search

About Us

St. Thomas Episcopal Church welcomes you.  The old Episcopal Church slogan holds truer here than most places.  We greet everyone, those known to us and unknown, with a smile.  We make an effort to learn your name, invite you back, and find a way to get you plugged into the life of the church.  We are a close-knit community who love and care for each other.

Our location in Springdale is ideal.  We are in the heart of Northwest Arkansas and located right off of the interstate, making us both visible and reachable.  And Northwest Arkansas is a great place to be.  We are a rapidly expanding part of the world, experiencing continued economic growth and development.  And with this growth has come diversity, with strong and thriving Latinx and Marshalese communities, as well as other cultures and backgrounds.  The University of Arkansas is just to the south of us in Fayetteville.  Walmart’s home office is just to the north of us in Bentonville.  And Springdale itself is proud to be the home of Tyson foods.  We have many metropolitan amenitities, and yet still feel like a small community, all while having access to everything the Ozarks have to offer—lakes, rivers, mountains and many outdoor activities.

About the Rector We Seek

St. Thomas is at a crossroads.  We have a strong core of faithful parishioners, but are ready for growth.  We are searching for a leader, someone who is passionate about pastoral care and Biblical teaching, but who is also an administrator who knows how to delegate.  We are in a vibrant, dynamic, and diverse community and would like for Sunday mornings to be more reflective of the broader diversity of the region.  A passion for outreach is a must.  A love for youth ministry is critical.  In short, we are seeking a warm, thoughtful, gregarious pastor who is ready to lead St. Thomas into the next chapter in its congregational life.
